American Warriors: Five Presidents in the Pacific Theater of World War II includes the most detailed description of the LBJ raid that I've seen to date. The complexity of the opration is described well and confirms a statement made to me by Col. Divine when I visited him in Orange City 13 years ago that it was beyond the capability of the command structure to coordinate such an operation. I highly recommend American Warriers. It's an excellent read.
