My dad flew in the u.s. army air corps during wwII. He flew c-47s and a large part of his flying was from townsville to new guinea and back and later all around new guinea. I have his log book and would like information on how best to retrace his flights and landings from townsville to new guinea. I am a private pilot with instrument rating and would be interested in finding a rental airplane and pilot or instructor to fly with myself and possibly my brother from either the townsville or cairns area.
