I am a historian working on several projects relating to the Battle of the Coral Sea in May 1942. I would greatly appreciate any information as to the role of the 22nd Bomb Group in that battle, especially with regard to air strikes and/or recon missions against Japanese naval surface units and Japanese targets in northern New Guinea, New Britain, and Deboyne Island.
