Hello! Did anyone out there serve with my uncle, William F. Shaffer? He was a flight engineer and top gunner on a B-24 with the 22nd BG, 408th BS from late 1944 until late 1945. I'll post again tomorrow with the names of some of his crew if I can find them in his papers, which I have preserved for posterity.
